Agreement to Our Terms of Service
Welcome to PyramidRe. These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the PyramidRe reinsurance management platform (“Platform”), operated by PyramidRe Ltd (“Company,” “we,” “us,” “our”).
By accessing or using the Platform, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree to these Terms, you may not access or use the Platform.
Description of Services
PyramidRe is an enterprise-grade reinsurance management platform that provides:
- Treaty management and tracking
- Facultative placement workflow
- Claims processing and allocation
- Financial accounting and reporting
- Analytics and business intelligence
- Document management
- API integrations
The Platform is designed for insurance companies, reinsurance brokers, and reinsurers to manage their reinsurance operations.
Account Registration
Eligibility
The Platform is intended for business use by authorized representatives of organizations in the insurance and reinsurance industry. You must be at least 18 years old and authorized to bind your organization to these Terms.
Account Security
You are responsible for:
- Maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials
- All activities that occur under your account
- Notifying us immediately of any unauthorized access
Accurate Information
You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information during registration and to update such information as necessary.
Subscription and Payment
Subscription Terms
Access to the Platform is provided through subscription agreements. Specific terms, including pricing, payment schedules, and subscription duration, are set forth in your organization’s Master Subscription Agreement or Order Form.
Payment
You agree to pay all fees in accordance with your subscription agreement. Fees are non-refundable except as expressly set forth in your agreement or required by law.
Acceptable Use
Permitted Use
You may use the Platform solely for legitimate business purposes related to reinsurance management in accordance with these Terms and applicable laws.
Prohibited Activities
You agree not to:
- Use the Platform for any unlawful purpose
- Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of the Platform
- Interfere with or disrupt the Platform’s operation
- Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the Platform
- Use automated systems to access the Platform without authorization
- Upload malicious code or content
- Violate any applicable laws or regulations
- Infringe on the intellectual property rights of others
Intellectual Property
Our Rights
The Platform, including all content, features, and functionality, is owned by PyramidRe Ltd and protected by intellectual property laws. You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the Platform in accordance with these Terms.
Your Data
You retain all rights to the data you upload or create using the Platform (“Your Data”). You grant us a limited license to process Your Data solely to provide the Platform’s services.
Data Protection
Security
We implement enterprise-grade security measures to protect Your Data. Details are provided in our Privacy Policy and Security Documentation.
Compliance
The Platform is designed to support compliance with applicable regulations. However, you are responsible for ensuring your use of the Platform complies with all laws applicable to your organization.
Service Availability
Uptime
We strive to maintain high availability of the Platform. Specific service level commitments may be set forth in your subscription agreement.
Maintenance
We may perform scheduled maintenance that temporarily affects Platform availability. We will provide reasonable advance notice when possible.
Limitation of Liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, PYRAMIDRE LTD SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, OR BUSINESS OPPORTUNITIES, ARISING OUT OF OR IN CONNECTION WITH THESE TERMS OR YOUR USE OF THE PLATFORM.
OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIMS ARISING UNDER THESE TERMS SHALL NOT EXCEED THE FEES PAID BY YOU IN THE TWELVE MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM.
Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless PyramidRe Ltd and its officers, directors, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, losses, and expenses arising out of your use of the Platform or violation of these Terms.
Termination
By You
You may terminate your use of the Platform in accordance with your subscription agreement.
By Us
We may suspend or terminate your access to the Platform if you violate these Terms or if required by law.
Effect of Termination
Upon termination, your right to use the Platform ceases. We will provide reasonable opportunity to export Your Data in accordance with your subscription agreement.
Changes to Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated through the Platform or via email. Your continued use of the Platform after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
Governing Law
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales, without regard to conflict of law principles.
Dispute Resolution
Any disputes arising under these Terms shall first be addressed through good-faith negotiations. If negotiations are unsuccessful, disputes shall be resolved through binding arbitration or in the courts of England and Wales, as set forth in your subscription agreement.

Entire Agreement
These Terms, together with your subscription agreement and our Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and PyramidRe Ltd regarding your use of the Platform.
